Landscape Quilt Class with Theresa

Transform your favorite landscape photos into stunning quilted wall art! Whether it’s a mountain view, a glowing sunset, or a blooming garden, you’ll learn how to turn your inspiration into fabric form.
In this three-session class, Theresa will guide you step-by-step through the process:
Class 1:
We’ll discuss fabric selection and techniques for building a landscape quilt. You’ll learn how to fussy cut fabrics specifically for landscape work and how to apply structural elements to your background.
Class 2:
Focus on adding color and dimension to bring your scene to life. You’ll also learn how to use free-motion quilting to secure and enhance your design.
Class 3:
Finish your quilt so it’s ready to display as a beautiful piece of wall art.
What to Bring:
• A photo of the scene you’d like to create
• Any landscape fabrics you already have (we can help you select more at The Stitch if needed)
What’s Provided:
• Adhesive for applying fabric
• Stabilizer for your background
You will not need a sewing machine for the first class, but you will need one for classes 2 and 3. A darning foot or free-motion quilting foot is required for the quilting portion.
This class is perfect for adventurous beginners and beyond—come create something truly personal and unique!
