This mystery is a virtual event happening in our Mystery Five-0 Facebook Group in October and November, with the reveal in December. A mystery clue will be emailed to registered quilters each week in November. The reveal patterns (yes, there are two choices for setting your blocks) will be emailed in December. As you stitch through four cleverly crafted clues, you’ll once again be guided by our fearless fabric sleuth, Lara Langston, as she returns to Hawaii as travel director for a quilter’s island-hopping tour. Between breathtaking views and fabric-filled fun, Lara finds herself drawn into a decade-old cold case—a puzzle entrusted to her by longtime friend and FBI Cold Case agent, Dexter Ambrose.

Quilters register to participate in Island Hopping by purchasing a $50 M50 gift certificate for later use. Both settings for Island Hopping differ in size (Island Hopping Vacation 68.5”x86.5” and Island Hopping Adventure 71.75”x91.75”) and feature seasonal or holiday fabrics. Our carefully curated kits reveal ALL of the fabrics we’ve chosen for Island Hopping – no mystery here – you get EXACTLY what you see. OR, if you want to dig into your stash, we will share a video (late October) in our Facebook Group that will help guide you with your fabric choices. While the name of the quilt is Hawaiian-themed, the design of the finished quilts are NOT. Choose fabrics that appeal to you, and you are sure to love your finished quilt.
Quilters register to participate in Aloha by purchasing an Aloha kit in-store or online or an Aloha gift certificate. Both settings for Aloha (Aloha Spirit and Aloha Vibes) finish 56”x72” and feature 2-½” strips. Our carefully curated kits reveal ALL of the fabrics we’ve chosen for Aloha – no mystery here – you get EXACTLY what you see.
